"Tempest Original 100 Combo Turnout - A Solid Choice!"
I just had to grab another Tempest Original 100 Combo turnout rug in 4’ 3” for my ancient Shetland pony to help us through the winter months. The rain just beads off the rug instead of soaking in. We’ve had some serious downpours, and even where the rug got pretty wet, it didn’t seep through to him. Honestly, I’m really impressed with these rugs so far.

"Reaching Out to Shires Today"
I reached out to Shires today after snagging a free gift from them at Your Horse Live! I'm really excited about my gift, but I ran into a bit of a hiccup trying to use the code online. Paul was super helpful since I just couldn't figure it out. Can't wait for my boots to show up! I always go for Shires products for my horses; they're priced well and the quality is top-notch! Totally recommend them.

I gotta say, Shires is an awesome and super efficient company. I place orders pretty often directly through their website instead of going through a retailer. The products consistently show up the very next day, and they offer practical equestrian gear that's both affordable and of great quality.

"Disappointing Experience with Customer Service"
I had a really disappointing experience. I bought the zebtek fly mask, paying twice what I spent on a previous shires mask.

After just a week, the stitching began to come apart (and I was quickly told it must be my horse's fault), typical customer blame. The branding started to peel off, and it also caused some rubbing on my horse's head.

Not a single apology from shires at any time. I ended up having to cut the mask to get my money back. I've been a loyal shires customer for two decades, but I can honestly say I won't be purchasing from them again. So much back and forth—why not just admit the mistake, say sorry, and send a replacement that actually works?

I even tried reaching out through social media DMs, but they just ignored me.

"Terrible product and customer support."
Absolutely terrible product and customer support. I used a brand new fly mask with fringes just once, and the stitching came undone while the fringes fell out. Shires claims that my horse must've rubbed against something, saying it’s not defective. They refuse to exchange or refund unless I cover the return shipping myself.
